Getaria 2020: inspirar, pintar, iluminar

Abstract

Since 1996 the "Arkitektura Irudigintza" subject of second year innovates with a specific exercise called "Proiektuaren Aurkezpena" that identifies each promotion (Architectural Drawing / Project Presentation). When the approach requires the realization of field practices, localities close to the School of Architecture of Donostia-San Sebastian are usually chosen. Pablo Palazuelo's work of art that unexpectedly awaited us last year in Getaria, provides tangible critical discipline with which to innovate next year. Therefore, the communication focuses on the description of both exercises: 20/21 color transformation of a series of benches facing the sea and 21/22 light drawing on the claristory of the temple of San Salvador. By coincidence year 2022 is the 500th anniversary of the first trip around the world to be completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano, from Getaria. A relevant event because, whatever the circumstances, each course involves a new journey with which to innovate, to start over
