Abstract

In 2014 a mass grave with ten individuals is discovered in the village of Unzue de Navarra. The existence of ammunition and firearm injuries orients the case features a chronology of the nineteenth century. All individuals are younger males and were buried without personal belongings. We found four spherical projectiles lodged in a femur, a skull and a mandible. The ten individuals have injuries by firearm impact. The location of the lesions and the place of the mass grave allow to establish a hypothesis about the war episode to which it corresponds.
