Resumen

Approaching art education from a global perspective can be justified in various ways. However, we have found this integrated approach to Art Education in Primary School to be insufficient and of little relevance. This thesis aims to compare student perceptions of the globalizing approach to arts education before and after participating in an integrative arts didactic proposal designed for research. It also seeks to contrast a number of related aspects. The participants are students from Elementary Education Degree. The research is of mixed design, with data obtained in the form of questionnaires. The results indicate that the implemented didactic proposal contributed to the participants reaffirming their positive appreciation of the integrated approach to arts education and an interest in implementing integrated arts projects, thereby expanding their knowledge on such matters. Furthermore, it prompted reflection on various aspects of Arts Education.
