Resumen

This research has focused on analysing the relationship between motor skills and body mass index (BMI) in adolescent girls. The results obtained show that 75% of adolescent girls have a normopause BMI and 20% are overweight or obese. In addition, the data confirm that there is a negative and significant relationship between motor skills and BMI. Furthermore, it is shown that adolescents with low or normopause have higher levels than those who are overweight or obese.
