Résumé

The necessary conditions for effective incorporation of Information Technologies (IT) to academic activities in this article are divided into three groups: individual attitudes of those who are academics; the availability of ways, which mainly depends on economic and organizational effort that the institutions made in the field of equipment and infrastructure; and finally, the experience of academics in the use of IT along with the incorporation of these technologies into the curriculum. The article describes the different extent that these conditions are met at the University of Guadalajara and verifies that each campus can be found at a different level in the process of incorporating IT to academic activity.
