Resumen
When the socio-political context of the Andalusian emirate in 9th century is analysed, the traditional historiography emphasizes the presence of the mālikī juridical school in the Iberian Peninsula. However, lately the rereading of the written sources is making possible the appearance of important contributions to this historiographic paradigm. The article will explain the new interpretation, after showing the old one.
