Abstract
In the last 20 years, a lot of research has been done to achive a complete restoration in structure and function of the periodontal tissues (periodontal regeneration) as a result of periodontal surgery. Recently, different proteins and growth factors have been discovered and characterized to support periodontal regeneration. We explained and reviewed different growth factors in the last article and now in this second part we will explain and review the bone rnorphogenetic proteins and other enamel derivative proteins that may play an important role in periodontal regeneration.
