Resumen
The current paper aims to disseminate the application of the PBL (Project Based Learning) methodology to the design of the laboratory of "Business Networks", which is an elective subject in the studies of Computer Engineering at the EUI of Vitoria-Gasteiz (UPV/EHU). The laboratory has tried to reproduce, as far as possible, the future professional conditions in which the students will work. Typically, they will have to collaborate in working teams to design and develop computer applications of certain size and complexity. So, a relatively complex application, involving distribution and database access, has been proposed to be developed for the whole duration of the course (15 weeks). The students will have to address the different phases of the creation of computer applications. The Moodle platform was used to support the development of the laboratory in a bidirectional way: By the teachers to give support to the students and by students to deliver the documentation required in every phase.
