Abstract

Influenza is a seasonal disease that suffers with some regularity epidemic phenomena. Since March 2009 a new virus of influenza has been detected, A H1N1, with propagation and involvement characteristics that have forced the WHO to declare a phase 6 pandemic. Different health organizations have proposed in a coordinated manner, measures to control the spread of the pandemic and minimize its effects. Among these measures, we highlight those to be put into effect in the workplace, environment that will be affected significantly if the worst assumptions are met.
