Abstract
The present study examines the level of knowledge and beliefs about child sexual abuse of university students who are pursuing a Degree in Education, that is, future teachers. “Abusos sexuales a menores. Lo que recuerdan de mayores" (López, 1994) and the "Child Sexual Abuse Myth Scale" (Collings, 1997) questionnaires were adjusted to the context and filled by a sample of university students (n = 60). The results indicate that the level of knowledge of university students is low. In terms of beliefs about sexual abuse against children, the most common one is that "the aggressor is a sick person." It is therefore necessary to train future teachers in the field of sexual abuse against children.
