Abstract

This work presents our experience in the use of a Serious Game when teaching the subject Introduction of Business Management in the first grade of the degrees of Business Administration, Marketing, Economics and Taxation, and Public Administration. The work describes the objectives of the experience, the context in which the implementation took place, the main activities developed, and finally, the most relevant results obtained from a survey completed by students, from the the teacher assessment survey and the academic results obtained by the students. We would like to highlight the high assessment that students give to the experience. The aforementioned game involves taking management decisions in a company that produces and sales cubes. The decisions cover all the functional areas of the company, but more explicitly the production or manufacturing decisions.
