Abstract
The results of a research project funded by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the city of Durango, whose main objective was to assess the archaeological potential of the Church of San Pedro de Tabira and its immediate surroundings are presented here. Through a multidisciplinary approach to the object of research, we have been able to document the existence of an occupied space since the Early Middle Ages, and was at the fifteenth century, when the temple was erected, which has also suffered numerous subsequent amendments . Such modifications and alterations have also affected the archaeological substrate.
