Resumen

Given the important repercussions that an inappropriate adjustment during adolescence can have both for this period and for adulthood, several studies have focused on the analysis of the socializing factors that are related to an optimal adjustment at this stage. Among these factors, the family occupies a pre-eminent place. However, there are still lights and shadows about the relationships between parenthood and personal, social and school adjustment of adolescents. For this reason, the present research, in which approximately 1500 students will participate, will seek to know the degree of adjustment of adolescents and identify personal, family and school factors that are related to a better adaptation to this stage in two very different cultural environments such as Spain and Morocco, despite their geographically closeness. It could be the origin of the development of a theoretical model that allows predicting well-being among adolescents and designing training programs in this area for families and education professionals.
