Abstract

The aim of the present research is to analize the perceived motor competence of practitioners and non-practitioners depending on their motor competence level. In this study have participated 769 students from 12 to 16 years. Student’s level motor competence has been measured and AMPET-R questionnaire was applied. The results show that there are significant differences between motor competence, perceived motor competence and physical and sport activity. On the other hand, it has been shown that the students that practice physical and sport activity and have higher level of motor competence perceive themselves as more competent. However, the group of non-practitioners do not diference in their perception in any level of motor competence.
