Abstract

We check 100 eyes with IOPs normal y preoperatly, to whom we practise in a consecutive way extracapsular surgery of cataract with IOl implantation in posterior chamber. The behavior of the ocular tension was study in the preoperative period and statistics complications were made between the preoperati ve and post operative values, watching a significative tension fall in those patients that presents a preoperative IOP in the superior thirs, of the ocular tension values that statistically is consider as normal. About this discovery we speculate what can this mean in the therapeutic carrying out in the patient with cataract and glaucoma.
