Abstract
In relation to the definitive refraction, the predictability of two formulas (Binkhorst and SRK) has been evaluated in a series of 100 extracapsular extractions. AII the cases corresponded to patients with a previous spheric defect less than 5 O and in which the same posterior chamber lenses were implanted. In the present study we have not found any differences between both formulas when data were analyzed both totally or in different subgroups attending to keratometric values or ocular axial length.
