Abstract
The aim of this study is to obtain greater knowledge about the current state of the ethical and social responsibility training of future accounting professionals and business leaderships. This study shows an important increase in the level of ethical training in Spanish Business Faculties and still most important a very favorable attitude of business and accounting lecturers. The study also identifies factors for the improvement of the ethical training in accounting and business higher education. The results show the negative effect of the limitation of time and materials. However it also shows the relevance of the institutional support as a key factor influencing the ethical training in business higher education.
