Resumen

Este artículo aborda el estudio de las dinámicas organizativas que se derivan de los procesos de adaptación a entornos inestables y turbulentos, que denominamos dinámicas epigenéticas. Nuestro objetivo es estudiar cómo las empresas y los territorios se adaptan a cambios muy rápidos y significativos en sus respectivos entornos. El artículo pone el énfasis en la rutina de la toma de decisiones como vehículo para lograr dicha adaptación. Para ello, se centra en el estudio de la toma de decisiones en tres grandes grupos industriales cooperativos ubicados en el País Vasco y ofrece conclusiones acerca de las consecuencias de dichas diná- micas adaptativas, tanto para las empresas como para el territorio en el que se ubican, así como sobre la importancia del timing en la toma de decisiones.
