Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe changes in single-parent families with teenage sons after a psychotherapeutic process. The concepts and methods correspond to the systemic research in psychotherapeutic processes. For this article was elected three out of the cases dealt with by psychologists in training and monitors during the process of professional practice in clinical psychology. We used the technique of reflecting team to generate second-order reflection and strengthen interventions. The analysis of the changes made during the intervention process allowed us to understand key aspects of how these families like parenting and individuation. It was also shown the effectiveness of intervention techniques used.
