"Anthropocene" is a geological informal term used to signal the time interval in which human activities have exherted a global impact on Earth dynamics. Its definiti on as a formal geochrono logical unit requires to determine the start date and to establish suitable strati graphic markers . ln this work, some sc ientific considerations which may help to define the Anthropocene are presented.
