Resumen

A great increase of demand for the primary energy, which has not been accompanied by a similar growth of the national energy production, has come about in Spain in recent years and this augment has not been accompanied by a parallel rising in the national energy production, increasing, in this way, her dependence on foreign energy sources. And it all has occurred in spite of her development of renewable energies and specifically the wind power itself. This boost of the wind power sector has not only led Spain to the third position of the installed wind power countries in the word but has originated an active industrial tissue in which leading international firms are engaged. Many of these wind power enterprises so as most of their wind power large farms are established in small municipalities, contributing in this way to their development thanks to the economical benefits they generate
