Resumen

En el artículo realizamos un diagnóstico de dos experiencias particulares que afectan al modelo de gobernanza territorial del País Vasco a la luz del paradigma de la innovación social para extraer una serie reflexiones críticas en relación al desarrollo de la misma. Estudiamos la trayectoria de la agencia vasca de innovación (Innobasque) que aunque no es muy dilatada si merece la atención por la envergadura del proyecto y la capacidad de movilización social que hasta el momento ha desarrollado. Analizamos también, el entramado de las redes asociativas y de colaboración generadas en torno a las agencias de desarrollo comarcal. La aproximación desde la innovación social permite evaluar estas experiencias de manera crítica y extraer lecciones particulares para cada red así como en relación a la articulación multinivel con el objeto de avanzar hacia un proyecto de desarrollo socialmente innovador.
