Abstract

Agenda 21 Local has the objective to develop a plan to integrate environmental, economic and social policies from a sustainable perspective. Its materialisation, nevertheless, it is not responding to the integral character that preaches, dominating, at the moment, an environmentalist vision in its contributions. Thus, the agendas that have been centred on the rural spaces show results, even environmental, that are far away from the real demands of their population. The policy of sustainability in the Basque Country matches the drawn panorama.
