Abstract

During the 20th century a process of internationalisation concerning children's rights has been appreciated working, among other events, from International Congresses held to exchange experiences and common protection policies between some European and American countries. In addition, working from the promulgation of three important international treaties in 1924, 1959 and 1989, these policies have expanded and are being used as a model by countries who are implementing them progressively. In this article we expose the basics subjects of these three international treaties, highlighting the characteristics and the continuity of the protectionist discourse throughout this period.
