Características psicométricas de las versiones americana y española de la escala tda-h (trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad)

Resumen

El objetivo del presente estudio consistió en establecer una comparación entre las propiedades psicométricas de las versiones americana y española de la escala TDA-H (Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad). La versión americana de la escala fue administrada a 865 estadounidenses y la española a 338 españoles, todos ellos estudiantes universitarios. Los resultados pusieron de manifiesto que ambas versiones lingüísticas poseen una fiabilidad elevada tanto en lo que atañe al grado de consistencia interna como a la equivalencia entre sus dos formas paralelas. La validez referida a un criterio también fue adecuada en las dos versiones. La estructura factorial de ambas versiones resultó ser estadísticamente similar. En comparación con la versión española, la versión americana de la escala presentó un mayor grado de fiabilidad y validez.
