Apego y satisfacción afectivo-sexual

Resumen

Esta investigación se propone analizar, por una parte, la capacidad predictiva de la historia afectiva en la seguridad del apego en la etapa adulta, y , por otra, las relaciones existentes entre los patrones de apego, la expresión emocional, la satisfacción sexual y el ajuste diádico en las relaciones de pareja. En el presente estudio han participado 206 parejas de edades comprendidas entre los 19 y los 62 años con una media de 36.6 años. Las medidas de todas las variables se obtuvieron a través de cuestionarios, que cada sujeto contestaba de manera individual y anónima. Los resultados corroboraron cierta capacidad predictiva de la historia afectiva con los progenitores sobre el nivel de seguridad del apego en la vida adulta, así como importantes relaciones entre seguridad del apego, ajuste marital y expresividad emocional en la pareja. Otro resultado interesante se refiere a las estrechas relaciones obtenidas entre las variables de pareja y el nivel de seguridad del apego percibido en el compañero/a.
