Abstract

The current university scenario demands an effort by university lecturers to renew their methodologies and teaching tools in order to guarantee the competence and active learning of student from didactic innovation and efficiency. In order to do that, the lecturer will undoubtedly need continuous training in innovative strategies and tools to help developing an attitude open to methodological change. With this intention this paper is presented, that show a good practice in university teaching of the Economic History with support of educational applications. It focuses on two fundamental aspects of the educational process: on the one hand, the academic communication teacher-students, through the Remind application, and on the other hand, the evaluation of learning in real time, through the Socrative application. The experience shows that the incorporation of new technologies in the teaching field contributes to maximize the learning process of the student in Economic History.
