Resumen
Carlo Levi in his Cristo si è fermato a Eboli drastically rejects the use done by the Fascism of the myth of Rome. His encounter with the reality of the South-Italian farmers compels him to create a new myth founded on the idea of continuity from the distant past to the present, in which there's no place for the Classical Tradition.
