Resumen
Azken bizpahiru hamarkadotan ugariak izan dira protagonistarenoroitzapenak kontagai harturiko euskal nobelak. Zergatik, zertarako eta zeinemaitzarekin jo izan da hainbestetan oroimenera, bada? Bestalde, ingurukoliteratur sistemek aspaldi jo dute postmodernismoa korronte garaikidenagusietakotzat. Zein bide egin ote du delako korronteak, ordea, euskalnobelagintzan, non izan du sarbidea, noraino hedatu da, zenbaterainokogarrantzia lortu du? Bi ikerketa-ildo horiek batera arakatu asmoz bideratu datesia. Mundu-ikuskera kontzeptu giltzarri gertatu da ikerketan, literaturteorian Weltanschaaung deitu ohi dena: batetik, ezin da oroitzapenez hitzegin mundu-ikuskera aintzat hartu gabe; bestetik, postmodernismoa, funtsean, mundu-ikuskera aldaketa da, esentzialismo modernoa baztertzeaproposatu diguna. Aldaketa hasi baino egin ez bada ere, jauzi handia dakarmundua ulertzeko eran, euskal nobela garaikideek nia eta nazioa oroitzean, kasu, erakutsitako modu ezberdinetan ikus daitekeen bezala. In the last few decades, many Basque novels have been published thatrevolve around the memories of their main characters. Why has memorybeen addressed that often, for what purpose and with what results? On theother hand, postmodernism has for some time been one of the mostimportant trends in the main neighbouring literary systems. What course hasit followed in the contemporary Basque novel, when and where did it makean entrance there and to what extent has it spread out and becomemainstream? This thesis is an attempt at answering both questions at once.Worldview has turned out to be a crucial notion for this research, orWeltanschaaung, as it is called in literary theory: there is no way ofanalizing memories without taking into account the subject¿s worldview;likewise, postmodernism lies basically in a change of worldview, thatproposes to put aside modern essentialism. This change has just started, butit will transform profoundly our way to understand the world, ascontemporary Basque novels, for example, have already shown whenrecalling the self and the nation.
