Abstract
The aim of this review is to describe and compare different methods of determination of Mandibular centric relation, as well as registration and their conditions of accuracy and repeatability based on what odontoligica reported in the literature. Study literature review in which scientific publications have been consulted and books of the last 40 years, which contain references to the objective pursued and obtained by automatic search items through the bases PubMed, Cochrane, Scielo. 143 entries have been obtained and included in the study 39 references. Manual techniques are described, self-induced and electrically induced. Various methods and materials are used in your registration. No significant differences in accuracy and repeatability of different methods of determination and registration. Centric relation should be considered as reference mandibular position in Diagnosis and Treatment of prosthetic rehabilitation and Craniomandibular Dysfunction. The choice of either method of determination and registration is not relevant for this purpose.
