Abstract

At present the clinical diagnosis demands the implementation of methodologies of simple management, affordable cost, reduced response time and with multiplexing capabilities that can be implemented in the clinical routine for the determination of biomarkers of relevance in non-invasive samples such as liquid biopsies. In response to these demands, this Doctoral Thesis has addressed the development of several electroanalytical biosensing platformsapplicable to the determination ofinflammationbiomarkersandbreast cancer associated biomarkers. The operation of most of these bioplatforms is based on the realization of immunoreactions on the surface of commercial magnetic microparticles that are coupled in the final stage, after their complete modification, on disposable electrodes to performthe amperometric transduction, whose magnitude is proportional to the concentration of the biomarker under study...
