Doctor by the Universidad de Cantabria with the thesis Aplicación de la Dinámica de Fluidos Computacional a la simulación y optimización de biorreactores multi-ambiente para tratamiento de aguas residuales 2020. Supervised by Dr. Iñaki Tejero Monzón, Dr. Rubén Díez Montero.

Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering; Researcher - Assistant Professor of Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Engineering at the Bilbao School of Engineering, University of the Basque Country (Spain). I am involved in both fundamental and applied research projects in collaboration with universities and research centres, as well as in consultancy and knowledge transfer activities for industry and public institutions. My work focuses on the development of advanced mathematical models — typically based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) — to analyse and optimise Hydraulic Infrastructure, including dams and their hydraulic components (e.g. spillways, stilling basins), hydroelectric power plants, pumping stations, water treatment systems, breakwaters, and other maritime structures. Moreover, I teach the following courses in Civil Engineering: Hydraulic Structures and Engineering; Ocean, Coastal and Port Engineering; and Water Resources Management.
