Abstract

Environmental protection is one of the most important challenges facing society. The solution must be global, and to this end it is absolutely necessary to promote a sustainable development model. The UPV/EHU aims to be an example of social transformation towards a more sustainable organizational model, and an example of this is the EHU-Aztarna project of the Campus Bizia Lab, promoted by the Directorate of Sustainability, in which the Environmental Footprint of the UPV/EHU has been calculated using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, following the European Commission proposed methodological guide.
