Abstract
In this paper some proposals regarding skill-based evaluation are presented based on teaching experiences conducted on the first course of History degree in the University of the Basque Country. The high number of pupils, exceeding regularly 90, had penalized feedback during the teaching-learning process. Innovation based on designing new assessment tools and including new agents in the evaluation process had favoured feedback and formative assessment. An improvement of the marks and a reduction of absents are attested. Besides, students implicated on practical activities and the new evaluation had a positive perception of the teaching-learning process.
