Zusammenfassung
The construction industry is responsible for a third of global CO2 emissions, so the rehabilitation of Historic Built Heritage plays a strategic role, as it allows the life cycle of the building stock to be prolonged, thus reducing its carbon footprint. However, the decision-making process for selecting the heritage to intervene is often fraught with subjective value judgements, which prevent the optimisation of the resources allocated to heritage rehabilitation or restoration actions. The MASPI (Multiscale Analysis System for the Prioritisation of Interventions in Historic Architectural Heritage) was developed to assist in decision-making, and thanks to the delocalised, multidisciplinary and objective nature of the elements that comprise it, it can be replicated in Historic Centres in different parts of the world.
