Zusammenfassung
The main points of my argument are as follows: To trace the roots of feminist anthropology in the Enlightenment and to establish the link with the founding period of the discipline. Secondly to place The Second Sex as a key contribution between the founding time and trends developed approximately between 1970- 2007. To analyze the reasons behind the recognition or its ignorance of the work of Simone de Beauvoir. Finally, three areas of influence are recognized in contemporary feminist anthropology: tension, suspicion and emergency.
