Zusammenfassung
The water authority of Bilbao and its surroundings has set up a sewage purification station in Galindo (Vizcaya) that will meet the needs of nine councils with more than half a million inhabitants. Up to date the Galindo Station recives the sewage of Baracaldo, Trapagaran. Sestao, Portugalete, and Santurce Municipalites with a population of 240,000. The treatment of the sewage includes thick and fine wear out, sand removing, physhical and chemical conditioning and primary sedimentation. In the future the station will have biological treatment.
