Résumé
This article examines some of the artistic creations of the late Middle Ages in which the central theme is justice in the afterlife in order to attempt to represent divine justice for the men and women living in the territory of the diocese of Calahorra and La Calzada in the late medieval period. It analyses the incorporation of private justice in Christian ideology, the resurgence of millenarian doctrine in the medieval period, and representations of justice in the afterlife in the late Middle Ages.
