El repertorio infantil para guitarra de Dusan Bogdanovic

Résumé

The principal goal of the Doctoral Thesis titled Children’s Guitar Repertoire by Dušan Bogdanović is to study the Serbian-American composer and guitarist, exploring the benefits of use of his repertoire in teaching young conservatory guitarists. The dissertation can be divided into the following aspects: problem statement (introduction, background, rationale and review of literature), assumptions and objectives (research questions, purpose and aims), methodology (overall methodological approach and investigative techniques), and the following elements of study about Dušan Bogdanović: professional history, compositional language for guitar, concrete characteristics of his children’s repertoire, such as pedagogical possibilities of use of said repertoire to contribute to the education of young guitarists. Finally, after the conclusions, it includes the documentary sources and annexes used in the research.
