Résumé

This research analyzes the digital conversation that emerged on Twitter, on March 8, 2021, International Women’s Day. The objective is to describe the online mobilization of Basque feminism by monitoring hashtags in Euskara. A sample made up of 10,569 tweets is analyzed, sent by 4,444 users from March 4 to 9, using techniques for Big Data processing. Pajek, Gephi and Orange Data Mining software are used, Likewise, an ad-hoc methodological process is designed and implemented. The results show that the analyzed conversation builds a horizontal and plural network, and that it is formed based on two main axes: left-wing ideology and nationalism. Likewise, it is a paradigmatic case to observe the consequences of the different strategies that those agents who intend to influence the digital public controversy can take.
