Résumé

Laser Direct Energy Deposition (Laser-DED) is one of the Additive Manufacturing process that has become more important for the manufacture and repair of complex and high added value-metal parts. The process is of particular interest in the aeronautical industry, where the characteristics of its components require reliable solutions for the repair and scrap reduction. At the same time, this type of additive manufacturing technology is capable of approaching other fields such as the generation of high-performance coatings, where there is a wide range of possible applications thanks to the use of different materials. However, one of the great challenges of this technology is the lack of robustness since there are not reliable monitoring and control systems of the process yet. The ability to accurately determine the magnitude of the main variables of the process is essential in order to improve its stability
