Résumé

This work is based on the design of an intervention which main objective is to promote Primary Education Teacher students to reflect on the influence of music in their lives and on the internalisation, often unconsciously, of certain gender stereotypes. In this sense, from an educational point of view, guidelines can be provided to avoid excluding attitudes. An approach is proposed which, starting from the students' musical background, involves them in reflective and creative activities. This intervention is part of a project which aim is to underline the importance of artistic experience in the acquisition of new tools and ways of perceiving oneself and the other person, as well as the context to which he/she belongs. It demonstrates the relevance and potential of Arts to advance coeducation based on methodologies and experiential resources in its visual and sound dimensions. Through focus groups, the aim is to ascertain the assessment of the agents involved in the process, which is currently in the analysis phase. The topics investigated include the recognition of gender stereotypes, the influence of certain musical activities on coeducation and the importance of applying a gender perspective in music education.
