Résumé

The use of nanotechnology as a way to reduce costs in the renewable energies and the rights of intellectual property for these technologies is discussed. In the photovoltaic field the use of perovskite has gained a lot of attention lately as a mean to reduce the manufacturing costs of panels. For the solar thermal energy, the use of nanocoatings has become a successful option to obtain panels that are both more efficient and cheaper to maintain. In the case of wind energy, coating paints with functionalized nanoparticles allow the exploitation of the abundant wind resource of cold climates. The use of nanostructured electrodes has made the life span of lithium batteries much longer and has reduced the charging time
