"The Ebro valley is the pantry of the Basque Country". This statement conceals a range of processes that can be reconstructed over the social and territorial layout of southern Navarre. The present paper proposes a historical revision of those processes, as well as an agroecological approach to reflect on the transition towards a more equal and sustainable productive model
