Zusammenfassung

This article recovers the original altarpieces program that were built in the basilica of St. Ignatius of Loyola (Azpeitia, Guipúzcoa) under de direction of Ignacio de Íbero in the years before the expulsion of the Society of Jesus and places the program in the context of an iconographic modo nostro of the Jesuit order.
