Résumé

Original German sociologist and hardly classifiable, Niklas Luhmann has prepared an ambitious and coherent theory which describe the modern society as a system. Constituted, not for individuals but for communication, it divides in functional subsystems closed across specializing codes: the political, economic, religious, artistic or juridical systems.
