Résumé

By the time Aristotle started writing Metaphysics B, he had already developed the conceptual and doctrinal complex needed in orden to solve the apories generated by previous philosophies. This fact can be verified by the significant presence of Aristotelian realism in that treatise. On the other hand, the aporetic way in which he writes B, manifests both the influence of the Athenians institutional activity and the dialectic activity developed at the Lyceum. Fromm both facts it can be concluded that the aporetic style of B should be better considered as a methodological strategy than as a plan to be developed in the future.
