Résumé

The Final Thesis focuses on understanding the factors in the urban development that have led to an estate of disconnection an invisibility of Mundaiz towards the rest of the city of San Sebastian. For that, we look at the history of the urban form and the history of its buildings themselves, and the social agents that contributed to its construction and exploitation. Together with that, we analyse the social systems that operate in the subject area and its surroundings, in order to understand which programme will be compatible with the site. The thesis propases the introduction of a historical narrative by rehabilitation of key pieces, a propasa! of uses and the improvement in connectivity to the rest of the city as a means to activate the site and introduce it to the image of the city and the mental map of the citizens of San Sebastian, solving the current social and urban fabric fractures.
