Résumé

In this communication it is described a educational psychology intervention program in the emotional education developed with the U-13 and U-15 football teams of Real Sociedad, S. A. D. de Donostia – San Sebastián. The program is hosted by Real Sociedad Fundazioa, whose one of its main goals is the promotion and diffusion of the sports practice in the infancy and youth as a way of favoring the people’s integral education. 202 This intervention program’s objective consists on promoting the social and emotional learning as to the young players, in order to result in an improvement of their sporting performance. We start from a social-emotional competences developing model, understood these as a bunch of needed knowledge, capabilities, skills and attitudes in order to understand, express and properly rule the emotional phenomena in different social interaction situations. The intervention program has followed a formal design model: assessment of the context and group to whom it is addressed, needs’ identification, prioritizing those needs, setting objectives, program’s design, plan’s interaction with the other Club’s sport-training processes and establishing managing, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
