Résumé

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of hybrid porous crystal-line materials made from metal ions and chelating organic ligands, that is, extended frames of coordination polimers. In recent years, due to the fact that porous materials in the field of technology have been one of the most demanding requirements, the progress of MOF compounds has been enormous. There are many interesting features and properties, as well as numerous and varied applications. Simultaneously, the in-herent problems of MOFs have become evident, including chemical and thermal insta-bility. For this reason, scientists are looking for more robust MOFs, and in this regard the Zr-based MOFs stands out for their exceptional properties. Certainly, they are very promising materials for future needs and scientific challenges.
